I recently saw the movie Solo, and as a whole I thought it was great. It had a nice new cast of characters, and a refreshing take on the old ones, at least for the most part. Despite the fact that I enjoyed most of this movie there were a few major problems that brought this movie from a "great" to a "good". I went into the viewing of this film with an open mind, as such, I was disappointed when my first big gripe with this movie appeared in the first two minutes of it. Han Solo's iconic dice are a staple of the Millennium Falcon, and although they are a recurring item in the movie because they are "lucky", their significance is never explained. This really bugged me, as originally they were explained as the the dice that Han won the Falcon with, and now they seem to have no purpose at all aside from luck. My next two problems took place at the end of the movie. I love Darth Maul as much as the next guy, but his return to the Star Wars movies had a strange timing and an even stranger connotation for the franchise. I will probably address this concept again at a later date. My final product with this movie was that Han Solo was just too good of a guy. It didn't really fit with what his motivations were and it took away from the overall experience of the ending especially. Despite these three gripes, I still believe that Solo is a good film and a good addition to the Star Wars franchise. It is worth a watch for any Star Wars fan, and I recommend you watch it even if you aren't a fan yourself.

So for the last month I've been binge watching Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and after all of that time, I can confidently say that it was worth every second! Every season of this show is packed with an insane amount of care and charm. It has creative concepts, a great soundtrack, and some very memorable characters. I personally liked the first two seasons best, but the quality of the show is so good throughout that any viewer can basically take their pick. Stands are one of the coolest things I've ever seen, and I personally wish that I was able to come up with something that creative. After all that gushing, I just want to finish by saying that DIO is one of the greatest villains of all time.
I liked this movie. However, I had a few minor gripes. The same plot devise of "I won't save you; Oh wait, yes I will!" was used way to many times. Although this brought "thematic significance" to the plot, I still disliked it and it did take away from my experience watching the movie. My other gripes were way to minor to affect my overall experience, such as the space ships looking way to much like those from Star Wars. Overall, I thought this movie was a good one, and I would gladly recommend you go see it.
